Butter Nut Snowballs

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • powdered sugar, for rolling and sprinkling

Method

Cream butter, sugar, & vanilla, until fluffy. Sift flour & salt and add to creamed mixture.

Blend thoroughly. Add nuts. Mix well [again].

Shape into 1” balls & bake @ 325º for 20 min.

Don’t bake too long; they shouldn't be browned. Ben hates browned BNSBs.

Roll in powdered sugar. Serve up warm!
