Green Chili Casserole

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces whole green chili peppers, 2 cans; drained (or pickled cactus)
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup milk
  • 6 eggs, lightly beaten
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Method

Grease pan or use iron skillet.

Put green chilis on bottom of pan, sprinkle with half of the shredded cheese. In a bowl beat eggs, milk, salt & pepper. Pour over chilis & cheese.

Bake @ 350º for 25-30 min. Let stand 5 min before serving.
