Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white Karo
  • 1 ½ cups cream, or half-and-half
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Method

Mix sugar, butter, syrup & half of the cream in a soup pot.

Cook to soft ball stage. Add remaining cream.

Cook to firm stage.

Pour into a buttered pan.

When cool, cut & wrap in wax paper.

Notes

Don't overcook o you'll end up with "Sugar Daddies" or Werther's Originals!
