Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients

  • ¼ C. butter, melted
  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • ¾ C. flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • ½ C. nuts, chopped

Method

Mix sugar, butter, and vanilla.
Add the egg and mix well.
Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in nuts.
Spread into a greased square pan.
Bake @ 350º for 20-25 minutes.
Cut while warm.

Notes

Double the recipe and bake in 9 x 13 pan.
