Turkey Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 # ground turkey breast, extra-lean
  • 1 (1.25-1.5 oz) packet taco seasoning, make according to directions
  • 2 C. lettuce, chopped or shredded
  • 1 large tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese, reduced-fat
  • 7 taco shells, hard or soft
  • salsa or hot sauce

Method

In a large skillet, cook the turkey over medium-high heat, until browned.
Drain the fat.
Stir in the taco seasoning and water.
Bring to boil, reduce heat & simmer, stirring occasionally, 5-6 minutes.

Evenly divide the turkey mixture, lettuce, tomato and cheese among the taco shells.

Top with salsa/hot sauce.
