Manicotti

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
  • ¼ # mozarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 T. parsley
  • 3 T. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 t. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 package manicotti shells, uncooked
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce, favorite kind

Method

Combine ricotta, mozzarella, egg, parsley, sugar, and salt & pepper.
Fill hard manicotti shells.
Pour a little sauce in bottom of 9 x 13 pan.
Put filled manicotti shells over sauce.
Add 1 C. water to remaining sauce.
Pour sauce over manicotti.
Cover pan with foil.
Bake @ 400º for 50 minutes, until tender.
Remove from oven.
Add Parmesan cheese and bake uncovered 5-10 minutes.
